Cavities!

I have two cavities! Sucky!

So our dog is gone, it was nice to have him but not nice to worry about something being chewed up when we came home. So we found a good person off KSL to take him. The lady had another lab that needed a friend so it's a win win situation. Except for the fact in damages from the dog we suffered. Oh well. I let Aubrey get a dog cause he really wanted one so.... Maybe we'll get another one later. Either a smaller one or an older one.

So I'm approaching 28 weeks and ready to shake this cold I've had since the beginning of Fabruary. Luckily spring break is coming and I'll get a break from school. I wish I could go to Arizona with Jenny and Kristina but I will spend my spring break getting ready for a bridal shower for Carlee, Trevor's fiance. Yes...... Trevor's fiance! I am so excited for the two. The big day is March 26th at the Salt Lake Temple! Did I mention I am so excited!? I want to see what those little babies look like. hahaha

So I always forget to put up pictures so I will put some random ones up now. I got a video camera for christmas so I've had to figure all that jazz out.

The best picture taken in 2009!

Leila with the nice- not scary Santa.

This picture is dedicated to my lover Aubrey. I LOVES dingy cats. Our new camera does a really good zoom so whatever chance we get we record these wild dingy cats. These cats were sitting on the top of the truck in our driveway and I was standing in the family room. Pretty cool and random so I posted it. (There are 3 cats in this picture.)

This picture is proof that Leila does not get her eye color from me. But I'm just fine with that, look at those eyes. My beautiful PERSIAN girl.

It's that time again.....

It's been a long while since I last wrote and I'm sure many other posts start out with the same line. Well things have been fun and time is definitely moving by. We found out a while ago that we are having another baby girl. We have no names yet and Aubrey refuses to talk about it. I threaten him that we'll end up naming her Aubrey (since it's a girl's name) if he doesn't decide what he likes (I would never to that to our daughter though, maybe just as a middle name). So as of right now I am 26 weeks and 1 day along. I thought for sure time was going to go by so slow while going to school but we are already in the 7th week and spring break is just around the corner. I am enjoying being pregnant but this time around I would have to say I am more emotional and I feel OLD! I'm not old but when you have to make a noise to get up off the ground or turn to your other side in bed it makes you realize you're changing. Anyway I am loving teaching aerobics and I know this pregnancy is benefiting from the exercise.

So I currently teach at Weber State University and Blue: Adult Dance and Fitness. I will boldly say I LOVE teaching at Blue much more. I feel like I can go and workout with friends instead of trying to be super perfect at teaching and cuing and know everything there is about strengthening muscles. Weber definitely pushes me to be a better instructor but I keep the desire by my experiences at Blue. Side Note- I do NOT teach chair or pole. I teach step aerobics. I do have to be careful of the environment down at Blue because their main selling point is the pole and all things related.

Leila---- Oh Leila, she is getting so big it makes me sad. She is almost 18 months and will go into the nursery next month. I've done my best to keep her reverent in church and hope that going to play with toys at church will not confuse her of the reason for being there every week. I hope she handles the transition well. I've let her take a look inside so it doesn't look so foreign but we'll see how it goes. She is so energetic especially when she decides to throw a fit. Lately it's about Mommy leaving for school or not letting her dive into the tub with her clothes on. She is funny but I don't know how to deal with that just yet. I'll have to do my research.

We got a dog on January 31st. We picked him up for free off KSL and one week later put him back up on KSL. Aubrey really wanted a dog so I gave in and went to look at it. Bear is his name, he is a lot of work, however, Aubrey has been giving him additional training such as staying out of the kitchen, not biting, not jumping up on me, and just relaxing. He is a good dog but I will still have to get used to him Leila loves playing with him and Aubrey is getting exercise.... finally.

He'll be one in March. 1/2 Black Lab, 1/4 Blue Heeler, 1/4 Australian Shepherd.

Well that is it for now. I haven't told you everything but that will make you make me update my blog sooner than 2 months!

And thanks to everyone who gave me their blog address! I love reading them!

WoWzers!

Where to start? I know I haven't written for a long time but you all know what my life consists of..... Family, school, work, and a church calling. What? no remodeling? Not for a while. Home Depot and I kind of had a falling out. I just couldn't afford to keep dumping my money into him. I just needed a break. Our kitchen has been finished and it looks SO good. Forgive me for not putting pictures up just yet. I can't believe Aubrey (I'll give up the code names, not many people read this anyway.)I can't believe that we accomplished everything we wanted in our kitchen and did it all by ourselves. It feels good and Leila aka Jammy loves exploring it as well.

Here are some recent changes/updates that I may elaborate on if I feel like it.

1. Roxy is doing well on her mission and recently hit the 6 month mark. I love her and she is such a good example to me. I am super jealous that she will come back to Ogden and be able to get any job she wants cause she'll be speaking Spanish. I try to write her often. Let's just say my blog was being neglected due to letter to her.

2. We are expecting another baby. Haven't found out what it is yet but I am so excited! I'll be honest about it..... I'll be 20 with 2 kids. Insn't that the coolest thing? I'm so glad I have a husband who sees the eternal perspective eye to eye with me. I am due at the end of May. Luckily I can fit in another semester before I deliver!

3. I am a ward missionary with Aubrey now. I love it and feel so much more competent and cofident about sharing the gospel. You can't convert anyone until you've converted yourself so wanting to help others is a good way to stay on the straight and narrow.

4. I teach aerobics both at Weber State and Adult Dance and Fitness. Things are going well and I would love to teach you the helicopter or flamingo so come out to one of my classes.

5. Leila is now 15 months! Crazy. I am amazed at how fast she learns. She does the funniest things and I have no idea where she learns them. She is so smart and still such a wonderful child. Walking and running are on her list of favorite things to do. Oh I love her so much and she makes my job so easy!

I guess that is all for now. The semester is over so like I say the sooner I get done the sooner I don't have to go. It feels good to have 12 more credits under my belt. I now get to enjoy the holidays with my lover and Leila and my family.

I will get pictures up here soon!

August 31st

It seems like it's been a really long time since I last wrote and it probably has. Life is consisting of the same these days, school, Jammy, Arry, remodeling. The remodeling is sort of on hold right now. We are waiting for our counter top to come. We were about to tile it when my dad called and said he heard about a sale on the radio about half price granite. We drove to Salt Lake, picked some out and have just been waiting the 6-8 weeks we're supposed to. Other than that the kitchen is finished and I'm anxiously awaiting Jammy's first birthday. She is getting so big and I love her to death. I couldn't have asked for a more well behaved baby. She is so cooperative even though she doesn't want to sit still in churh. So I started another semester of school and I love it. I'm so grateful for the oppourtunity I have to attend college. I learn so much and it sort of makes me feel more valuable and important. I am learning things that I can apply to my family especially and not just the students I will eventually teach. So basically that is it. I am now a ward missionary and taught my first lesson in gospel principles and I think it went okay. Here are a couple of my favorite recent pictures.

Jammy absolutely loves to pet dogs! Can you tell?

Changes!

Change #1 As I hit the mid term of the semester I was able to finish off a couple classes and start a new one. The condensed courses were packed but completely worth the credit. All classes this summer are going towards my dual minor in Nutrition and Health. Change #2 I was recently released as the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society (Enrichment counselor). This was completely 100% percent a shock/surprise to me. I thought I was doing a good job juggling work, school, Jammy, remodeling, and family pretty well. I did have a lot on my plate and still do but I guess the Lord has something else in store for me. I'm not sure what that is just yet but I'm content with waiting and enjoying my time without a high priority calling. Change #3 All in four days Arry and I got a dishwasher, installed it with the help of my dad and little brother, and installed our hard wood floor. This includes the base boards, vent, and those things that go under neath the doors where the different floors meet (yeah.... uh don't know what they're called?)We did it all by ourselves which is the best part. We were able to spend a little more money on the wood because we didn't pay someone to do it. A big thanks goes to Brother Stanton in our ward who let us use all the necessary tools for installing the floor. Here are some pictures below to show the transformation. And now for the Granite counter top!
BEFORE!

AFTER!

Wow! We did a good job! It feels good to be done with this part! I really had so much fun doing this and thank goodness for those knee pads I found in the back of the closet cause I was on my hands and knees the whole time. Arry was a good helper! Have a happy fourth of July!

Update!

It seems like school is keeping me so busy this summer but it will be nice to have 12 more credits under my belt when the semester is over. The sooner I finish the sooner I don't have to go. I really hope that I finish school soon. I see lots of other young moms around me and they seem to be just fine without school and it makes me want to fit in with them just to make my load easier but I know that finishing school will be worth it. Arry is doing a great job of being a stay at home dad when I can't be home or I'm too busy doing my homework.
I am now certified to teach aerobics and I'm really excited to get started. I will have my own class at adult dance and fitness in Ogden. I will teach step aerobics and I am holding small enrichment groups for my ward relief society to practice. I hope that people show up because they have asked about it and I want to be able to offer something that the sisters want to do. So if your interested make your way over to my house on the 16th and 24th of this month at 7 p.m. I've got a big empty room upstairs why not use it?
We are still working on the kitchen and are about to order our hardwood floor. I am so excited that we are still moving forward and we will have a brand new kitchen soon. Things are good and Jammy is getting so big. We had to move her mattress down in her crib because she is standing up now. She makes her way across any room now. Everything is happening so fast! Well I think that is it for now. Here are some pictures.
