Easter!

Easter was a lot of fun this year. I had planned to find an Easter egg hunt for Leila. I didn't find any around Ogden but I didn't look that hard either. We ended up going to the Wheeler Farm in Salt Lake City. There were supposed to be hunts every hour from 10:30 to 3:30 but when we got there at 12:30 they said they were out of eggs! What! Seriously?! Well anyway we looked around at the animals and Leila really enjoyed that. I got some good footage too so I am happy. We drove down and listened to conference in the car. It's so much easier than chasing Leila around while trying to listen. So on the way home we decided to stop at the DI in Murray, who knows what you'll find. Well we got a steal on this new desk for Aubrey. It's not what he ultimately wants but it was definitely a step up. Luckily they held it for us to pick up the following Monday morning since we had no way of getting it home then. So we listened to more of conference in the car and finished at home. Aubrey got ready to go to the session with my dad and brothers and I headed to Karlee's for crafts (dying eggs). But the fun part of the night was watching Trevor and Carlee open their wedding gifts. I miss opening lots of gifts. Can't wait till we have a little baby boy! Anyway it was fun and their wedding cake was real good.

Sunday was the best. Conference was so good but I do have to say I hate when they talk about people dying. I know it has a purpose but my pregnancy emotions are a little (a lot) more ready to be used. So we went to my parents house and had the best meal I've had in a long time. Cheesy potatoes, ham, green beans, and rolls. I ate a ton. We then headed over to Aubrey's parents to watch the second session. After that I decided I wanted to find some home videos of my hubby. I'm really glad that his family took the time to make them. We all had fun watching and Aubrey liked seeing the videos after a long time. I was surprised at how much the boys went naked. Aubrey's mom said she didn't care that her boys did that. I saw each boy pee at least once. It was funny but again I was surprised.

So here are some pictures. I started this post forever ago but now it's here. Sorry!

She definitely did better with him than with Santa. I'd have to say this bunny is MUCH more scary.

This is Leila's Easter dress. Designer: Aubrey

This is the desk we found. It was marked at $85.00 but we got it for only $60.00. Sweet! Aubrey has cleaned it up a bit and fixed some scratches. Love the DI!

I had to post this picture for mine and Leila's buddies. This is the usual playdate crew but we're always looking for more kids around the same age to come. Don't know why the girls have black/blue eyes. No abuse (from the parents) goes on at these playdates. My guess the child with no "bruises" on the very right caused the damage. jk. I won't put names but the ages currently run from 12 to 19 months.

It's Monday....... Well I'm starting week number 11? for the spring semester. I couldn't be happier with the weather we've had this past week. Leila and I had so much fun over spring break and it makes me want to be home with Leila all the time. It was nice not to worry about school and just play all day. I think once school is over with I'll be reminded of what a stay at home mom really does. Aubrey spends just as much time with Leila at home as I do and I love that. I love it because I have the opportunity to go to school and do what the Lord has commanded which is get an education. I think of all the things I know and try to remember if I knew those things before I officially started college. I definitely feel more valuable and able to teach my children about everything especially about physical education and things like health and nutrition, daily aspects of everyone's life. I plan on graduating in December of 2011 and by the way things are going now, I feel like it's just around the corner. Yee yeah! So I'm excited and this semester has just been flying by.

Another reason I'm glad things are flying by is because I NEED to hold my baby! She does NOT stop moving and I love it. She is definitely a physical little girl. I am excited to get her out and just swaddle her. Swaddle her so she can't kick me and play the drums on my insides. Every time I see a baby I just want to ask if I can hold it. I haven't lately because I was sick for the whole month of February with whatever everyone was passing around. I just can't wait to hold her. We thought we decided on a name but Aubrey isn't quite sure yet. The fact that he isn't sure makes me unsure too. I think we might just have to see her to decide what fits. We do know that her middle name will be Afsar. It's Persian and Aubrey's grandma's name. It means, leader, commander, crown, tiara. You get the picture. As of right now that suits her. I've mentioned before that she kicked my side so I pushed her back and and then she kicked me HARDER! I was surprised. I just can't wait to meet her. I don't know how I'm going to love two girls the same just yet though. I'm sure I'll know shortly.

Just a photo of Leila being a big girl. Time for a haircut maybe?

My sexy husband... Pretty sure he can grow a beard faster than yours.

I went red. I let Aubrey choose the color. I just needed something different and I like it.

Cavities!

I have two cavities! Sucky!

So our dog is gone, it was nice to have him but not nice to worry about something being chewed up when we came home. So we found a good person off KSL to take him. The lady had another lab that needed a friend so it's a win win situation. Except for the fact in damages from the dog we suffered. Oh well. I let Aubrey get a dog cause he really wanted one so.... Maybe we'll get another one later. Either a smaller one or an older one.

So I'm approaching 28 weeks and ready to shake this cold I've had since the beginning of Fabruary. Luckily spring break is coming and I'll get a break from school. I wish I could go to Arizona with Jenny and Kristina but I will spend my spring break getting ready for a bridal shower for Carlee, Trevor's fiance. Yes...... Trevor's fiance! I am so excited for the two. The big day is March 26th at the Salt Lake Temple! Did I mention I am so excited!? I want to see what those little babies look like. hahaha

So I always forget to put up pictures so I will put some random ones up now. I got a video camera for christmas so I've had to figure all that jazz out.

The best picture taken in 2009!

Leila with the nice- not scary Santa.

This picture is dedicated to my lover Aubrey. I LOVES dingy cats. Our new camera does a really good zoom so whatever chance we get we record these wild dingy cats. These cats were sitting on the top of the truck in our driveway and I was standing in the family room. Pretty cool and random so I posted it. (There are 3 cats in this picture.)

This picture is proof that Leila does not get her eye color from me. But I'm just fine with that, look at those eyes. My beautiful PERSIAN girl.

It's that time again.....

It's been a long while since I last wrote and I'm sure many other posts start out with the same line. Well things have been fun and time is definitely moving by. We found out a while ago that we are having another baby girl. We have no names yet and Aubrey refuses to talk about it. I threaten him that we'll end up naming her Aubrey (since it's a girl's name) if he doesn't decide what he likes (I would never to that to our daughter though, maybe just as a middle name). So as of right now I am 26 weeks and 1 day along. I thought for sure time was going to go by so slow while going to school but we are already in the 7th week and spring break is just around the corner. I am enjoying being pregnant but this time around I would have to say I am more emotional and I feel OLD! I'm not old but when you have to make a noise to get up off the ground or turn to your other side in bed it makes you realize you're changing. Anyway I am loving teaching aerobics and I know this pregnancy is benefiting from the exercise.

So I currently teach at Weber State University and Blue: Adult Dance and Fitness. I will boldly say I LOVE teaching at Blue much more. I feel like I can go and workout with friends instead of trying to be super perfect at teaching and cuing and know everything there is about strengthening muscles. Weber definitely pushes me to be a better instructor but I keep the desire by my experiences at Blue. Side Note- I do NOT teach chair or pole. I teach step aerobics. I do have to be careful of the environment down at Blue because their main selling point is the pole and all things related.

Leila---- Oh Leila, she is getting so big it makes me sad. She is almost 18 months and will go into the nursery next month. I've done my best to keep her reverent in church and hope that going to play with toys at church will not confuse her of the reason for being there every week. I hope she handles the transition well. I've let her take a look inside so it doesn't look so foreign but we'll see how it goes. She is so energetic especially when she decides to throw a fit. Lately it's about Mommy leaving for school or not letting her dive into the tub with her clothes on. She is funny but I don't know how to deal with that just yet. I'll have to do my research.

We got a dog on January 31st. We picked him up for free off KSL and one week later put him back up on KSL. Aubrey really wanted a dog so I gave in and went to look at it. Bear is his name, he is a lot of work, however, Aubrey has been giving him additional training such as staying out of the kitchen, not biting, not jumping up on me, and just relaxing. He is a good dog but I will still have to get used to him Leila loves playing with him and Aubrey is getting exercise.... finally.

He'll be one in March. 1/2 Black Lab, 1/4 Blue Heeler, 1/4 Australian Shepherd.

Well that is it for now. I haven't told you everything but that will make you make me update my blog sooner than 2 months!

And thanks to everyone who gave me their blog address! I love reading them!
